It's an urban garden party! Learn how to grow fresh herbs in your home.

Join us for a hands-on virtual workshop with Philadelphia Box Gardens, who will help us make our edible urban garden dreams into reality.

We'll discuss the materials you need to get started, types of herbs to grow, how to harvest and care for your plants, and what to do with your home grown bounty.

Materials to get your started:
- Planter (at least 10” wide and 6” deep)
- Saucer
- Potting Soil
- Herb seeds: chives, thyme, oregano, rosemary

Shopping list:
Terracotta Table Top or Windowsill Herb Planter
NOTE: there are many types of planters to choose from so pick a style that best  matches your aesthetic. Just make sure that the container has good drainage and is deep enough for developing root systems (no less than 6”).

This event is for Walnut Club members and 1 guest of your choice.
