Due to the 2019 - 2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Walnut Club is taking extra precautions with the care of every member to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfecting procedures in compliance with Centers for Disease Control ("CDC") guidance (www.cdc.gov). Symptoms of COVID-19 include (but are not limited to) fever, fatigue, dry cough, and difficulty breathing.
In order to attend this event, you must agree to the following statements:
(1) I acknowledge that the above referenced symptoms may be indicative that an individual has been exposed to COVID-19, and affirm that I, as well as all household members, do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed above within the last 14 days. (2) I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days. (3) I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days. (4) In the event that I, or any household members, have traveled outside of the U.S. or to any city considered to be a “hot spot” for COVID-19 infections within the past 30-days, I, or my household member, have followed all recommendations for quarantine pursuant to the CDC and all state, local, or country procedures. (5) I understand that The Walnut Club cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client. (6) I agree to each statement above and release The Walnut Club from any and all liability for unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.

Walnut Club members are invited to brunch in Center City Philadelphia, followed by an (optional) tour of Philadelphia's own authentic
Christmas Village in LOVE Park.
The market will include more than 120 local and international vendors across Love Park and City Hall's courtyard and North Broad section selling a variety of items, such as ornaments, toys, jewelry, home goods and art. Another 40 merchants will be located at the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at the adjacent Dilworth Park, which exclusively features vendors from around the region.
We’ll start our day at brunch at The Wayward, located inside The Canopy Hotel.
The Wayward is a beautiful addition to the Canopy by Hilton hotel focused on American-tinged French food, with a twist or two.
Popular dishes include an elemental pan-roasted chicken with lemon and root vegetables; mussels with leeks, Bayonne ham, saffron broth, and frites; and a juicy onion soup-inspired winter burger. Soups, salads, and dessert (especially the croquembouche drizzled in a pecan and gin caramel sauce) round out any meal. Consider their Manatawny Stillworks gin-infused cocktails like the citron presse with salted honey, lemon, ginger, and egg white as excellent accompaniments.
Space is limited. Everyone is on their own to pay for their meals.
